Hello! I'm Pam

Pressed Specialist

Welcome! I’m passionate about capturing the beauty of flowers and preserving them in art. From my youth, I was inspired by the women in my family who taught me the joy of growing and caring for flowers. That love has only grown over time. Since 2022, my husband and I designed and nurtured a cut flower garden filled with roses, zinnias, dahlias, daisies, coneflowers, cosmos, and many other varieties. Watching seeds transform into blooms has given us a front-row seat to God’s magnificent creation.

Pressed flower art allows me to preserve that beauty in a unique way. When flowers are pressed, they reveal surprising characteristics—subtle color shifts, delicate shapes, or unexpected textures—that highlight a new side of their story. Every piece becomes a one-of-a-kind reflection of nature’s design.

What excites me most is working with others to preserve florals from meaningful moments—weddings, memorials, anniversaries, or simply as reminders of special times and places. Each creation is a lasting keepsake, blending personal memories with the timeless beauty of flowers. I would love the opportunity to create something meaningful for you!

Pressed FAQs

SHOULD I CHOOSE DOUBLE GLASS OR LINEN?

• Double Glass: Creates a striking “floating” look, showing the wall behind your flowers. Beautiful and modern, but since working with          natural elements, any detached fragments or dust particles during assembly may remain visible inside the sealed frame despite cleaning.

• Linen Mat: Provides a classic, museum-style backdrop and can create a cleaner, more reliable presentation.

• Each piece is custom wood-framed with professional finishing.
• All frames include Museum Glass with 99% UV-protection to reduce fading and 99% non-reflective clarity for

preservation quality and the best viewing experience.

HOW TO KEEP FLOWERS FRESH BEFORE PRESERVATION?
• Keep your bouquet in a cool room (avoid direct sunlight,      heat, or leaving it in the car).
• Do not freeze or refrigerate; this can damage petals.
• If stems are exposed, place in a vase with 1–2 inches of          water (ensure ribbon/wrapping isn’t submerged).
• Handle minimally—oils and touch can bruise petals.

HOW MANY DAYS AFTER MY WEDDING OR EVENT FOR BEST PRESERVATION?
Timing is key! Aim to deliver or ship your bouquet within 1–3 days after your event for the best results. See our contact page for delivery and shipping options, along with our packing guide.

ARE THERE ANY FLOWERS OR COMPONENTS YOU CANNOT PRESS?
We can press most flowers! However, very thick or high-water blooms may not preserve well. For these, our frames are a 1” shadow box (2–3" depth frames available for custom pricing) to accommodate larger blooms, branches, or accessories. During your consultation, we’ll confirm what can be preserved and discuss options.

WILL MY PRESERVED FLOWERS FADE OVER TIME?
Yes, pressed flowers naturally shift in color as they age. Light blooms (white, blush, yellow, blue, lavender) fade first, often to ivory or light brown. Darker blooms (red, burgundy, purple) last longer before softening into browns. Greenery also fades to golden tones. With UV-protective glass and proper display (away from sun and humidity), your florals will remain a cherished keepsake for years.

CAN SENTIMENTAL EXTRA ELEMENTS BE ADDED TO MY FRAME?
Making your art piece unique and a special keepsake is what we do best! Our frames can accommodate added ribbons, invitations, photos, charms/pearl pins, etc. into the design. This will be discussed during the consultation.

WILL LEFTOVER FLOWERS BE RETURNED?
Several factors are considered when your flowers arrive. Based on the condition of the flowers when received, the best stems will be preserved and selected based on your frame size. After the preservation process is complete, the best flowers & foliage will be selected for the art piece. Because of the selection process and necessary storage of pressed flowers, we do not return leftover flowers.
