Hey There! I'm Kristin

Acrylic Painter Specialist

I am an acrylic painter based out of South Carolina, but I grew up in north Georgia and consider both places my home! I have been creating in some way or another since I was little, from music to drawing to photography, but found my passion for painting with acrylics within the last few years. I have always been drawn to painting landscapes and animals, as it helps me study and appreciate the ultimate artwork of God’s creations. In the last couple of years, I have also found a love for gardening. Painting bouquets is an incredible way to combine my passion for gardening and painting, and helps me appreciate the fleeting moment of beautiful flowers even more. The fact that this helps preserve YOUR memories and moments in paint makes it all the more special!

If I had to give my painting style a name, it would be “realistic with painterly effects”. The quick drying of acrylics allows me to paint what I see quickly, allowing for a loose yet realistic style. From far away it looks realistic, but when you get close you can see the individual, unique brushstrokes. I would LOVE to preserve your bouquet in my unique style through paint!

My Favorite Scripture: "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Matthew 6:33

My Favorite Flower: Chrysanthemums, Zinnias, and Gladiolus

Painted FAQs

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE SOLID AND DETAILED BACKGROUND?

  • A solid background will allow the painting to solely focus on your bouquet. I can help you decide which color will highlight your bouquet’s beauty the best.

  • If you would like details added in the background, I will paint the full reference photo. The florals must still be the main focus of the reference photo, taking up around 75% of the canvas.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO COMPLETE A PAINTING?

Depending on my schedule and the painting size, commissions usually take 2-3 months from the time your photo and deposit are received. I will keep you updated with progress as I paint!

DO YOU PAINT FROM PHOTOS OR REAL BOUQUETS?

I work from high-quality reference photos. You can send me a favorite bouquet photo, or I can help you choose the best image for your painting.

WHAT IF I'M NOT SURE ABOUT THE BACKGROUND COLORS?

No problem! I’ll send a digital mock-up or concept sketch before starting so we can finalize your vision together.

WHAT KIND OF PAINT AND MATERIALS DO YOU USE?
I use professional-grade acrylic paints on gallery-wrapped canvas, sealed with a UV-protective varnish for long-lasting color and durability.

CAN I REQUEST CHANGES ONCE THE PAINTING IS FINISHED?
Minor touch-ups are possible, but major revisions may incur an additional fee. I’ll keep you updated with progress photos to ensure you love your piece every step of the way.

HOW SHOULD I CARE FOR MY PAINTING?
Keep your painting out of direct sunlight and away from moisture. A soft, dry cloth is all you need to gently dust it now and then.
